Hi friends! Welcome back to the blog! It's time for another Mini Pattern Monday and I'm so excited to share this Lenny the Cow amigurumi pattern with you today!

A couple of weeks ago, I decided that Kenny the Koala needed some new friends, so I set to work designing a little cow friend for Kenny! When I was done designing our new friend, I let you all help name him over on my Instagram and the name with the most votes was Lenny!

The Lenny the Cow amigurumi pattern is a beginner-level pattern. You can change out the yarn and hook size for plush yarn if you prefer working with that too! I made this pattern with worsted-weight acrylic yarn and my Lenny ended up being about 3.5in tall. I plan on displaying my Lenny on a shelf, but if you have a blank keychain, this cutie would make a super cute plush keychain or bag decoration!

If you would like to help keep these patterns free, please consider donating to my ko-fi if you are able! Each donation helps so much!

Tail:

In white

Ch 4

In 2nd ch from hook ss 3, tie off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Tie small bits of black yarn to the end of the tail.

Assembly:

  • Begin by attaching the head to the top of the body, sewing through both loops of the last row of either piece. Make sure to add a small bit of stuffing in the space while you’re sewing it up.

  • Pin the legs to either side of the bottom of the body, so that the cow is able to sit up all by itself, and sew them down where it’s illustrated with x’s here:

  • Attach the snout between the eyes. And then attach the ears a few rows above the eyes, offset by a couple of stitches. Then add the horns right next to the ears.

  • Finally, add the tail to the lower, middle of the back of the body and you are all done!

I really hope you enjoyed making your new plushie friend! If you do, you should tag me on Instagram so I can see your beautiful creations! (@cutiepie_crochet)
